Loki was not technically a god but the sworn blood-brother of Odin. He was given many priveleges such as the ability to walk about Asgard and the other worlds despit being a Fire Giant. Loki was very small and lithe, very different from most of his species. His mother was Laufey, and his father,Farbauti. He had a great talent for shape-changing and magic. He was known as a god of mischief and lies. He was a trickster and loved to play jokes on the gods, make dangerous bets, and adventure. Unfortunately, he did not usually enjoy the consequences. He had many lovers, one was Glut a Fire Giantess who he had two daughters with, Eisa and Einmyria. Angrboda, a Frost Giant was another lover of his. They had three children, Hel, the goddess of the dead. She was beautiful on her top half but a rotting corpse below. Jormungand, the Midgard Serpent, and Fenrir, the giant wolf. He had a faithful wife named Sigyn, who bore him two sons, Vali and Nari. Loki birthed Odin's steed, Sleipner, the eight-legged horse, fathered by Svaldifari. The gods were amused by his antics and allowed him to stay by their side. Though as timw wore on, Loki's tricks became more dangerous and malicious. He caused the death of Balder, and as punishment, the gods transformed his son Vali iinto a wolf and allowed him to tear Nari apart. They used his intestines to bind Loki to a rock. Skadi, the goddess of skiing, placed a snake above him that dripped venom upon him until Ragnarok. Loki's faithful wife, Sigyn,caught the venom in a bowl. When it filled, she would quicly empty it, but the drops that hit Loki while the bowl was nto in place caused such pain that his writhing created eartquakes. At Ragnarok, Loki will lead his army of the dead against the gods, along with Surt and the others planning their demise.
